The Mercedes GLK is small crossover SUV very much in the luxury class. There are currently two model variants available, the 250 and the 350. The fuel economy is 24 mpg in the city and 33 on the highway with a tank capacity of over 15 gallons. It is also four wheel drive with a seven speed automatic transmission. It boasts four wheel independent suspension. The basic petrol fuelled 350 model has a 3.5L V6 engine with rear wheel drive and 302 hp output. An upgraded option is available with an all-wheel drive system. It has a slightly larger tank holding over 17 gallons and will run at 19 mpg for the city and 25 on the highway.

2017 Mercedes GLK pricing for the new model is estimated to start at around $40,000 with the option of many additional extras. The new design is expected to be an improvement on an SUV that is already stylish and luxuriant.
