2015 Honda Vezel

2015 Honda Vezel is an subcompact crossover and it is based on Honda’s Urban SUV Concept. In US market is known under the name HR-V. Honda used its HR-V nameplate for two different models. First, the label HR-V stood for mini SUV which was produced until 2006. Current, 2015 Honda HR-V, is the second vehicle with this name, and it is an all-new subcompact crossover. Mark HR-V stands for Hi-rider Revolutionary Vehicle. Honda officials saw the demand for space that SUV offers, with performances and fuel economy of a smaller car.

2015 Honda HR-V is US version of the Honda Vezel, in fact the same model. Vezel shares the platform with the Fit model, and, according to Honda’s officials, new Vezel offers great combination of functionality and great styling. Its exterior is designed in order to combine coupe and SUV design cues, so we can say that it has the best of both types.

Interior functionality reflects in provided space as well as multi-functional seats. Rear seatbacks fold flat while seat cushions fold up from the floor.

2015 Honda Vezel is offered in hybrid variant too. Standard engine for both Vezel and Vezel Hybrid is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder featuring direct fuel injection. For hybrid variant it is combined with a high-output electric motor. Standard version of 2015 Honda Vezel will deliver 130 horsepower.

All-wheel drive is optional, while front-wheel drive is standard. Transmission choice is limited to CVT, which is the gearbox for both hybrid and standard variants.

Vezel’s rivals are Nissan Juke, Subaru XV Crosstrek and Mazda CX-5. All models offer great exterior and interior design, with numerous features, but we are pretty sure that Vezel has the best fuel economy of them all, which is not a small advantage.
