2015 Ford Mustang Full Review

Ford prepared a lot of changes for the 2015 Ford Mustang, including changed exterior, enhanced interior, three engines and improved suspension. The iconic pony car will go on sale next year, after its official debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. New Mustang is also presented in convertible form. Moray Callum, Ford’s chief of design, talked about new Mustang’s design and said:  “We were trying to get that right mix of Mustang-ness versus modernity. People that know it as a Mustang will recognize it instantly, and those that don’t will still see it as a modern sports car.” This particular design provoked a storm of enthusiasm from all car lovers around the world, and it deserve all praise.

2015 Ford Mustang Rear

Like we mentioned, new 2015 Ford Mustang will have three different engines. First engine found under the hood of this amazing vehicle is a 3.7-liter V-6 with 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Another option is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder which features turbocharging and direct-injection. This new engine is capable to deliver 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Third engine available is a 5.0-liter V8 which is rated at 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. As far as transmission choices, 2015 Ford Mustang doesn’t bring any changes. A six-speed manual gearbox remains standard, and a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle sifters is optional. Fuel economy rates and price of the vehicle are not published yet, but it will probably be revealed very soon.

2015 Ford Mustang Side

Full redesign of the 2015 Ford Mustang brought 200 lbs weight loss, all-new unique chassis, and some more losses including few inches from its height and length, but got a wider rear track. Beside the dimensions-wise alterations, new Mustang enhanced its side body lines, to give it more elegant and modern look. Inside new 2015 Ford Mustang look almost unrecognizable, in a good way. It now offers more comfort for its passengers, meaning more space and better materials overall. Ford also added MyFord Touch infotainment system as part of Mustang’s equipment, for the first time. If you look at the new Mustang’s interior, you will notice aviation-inspired theme.
